Family-Owned and Operated Pharmacy in Batavia, New York
Welcome to Alberty Drugs
Alberty Drugs, located in the heart of downtown Batavia in western New York, is proud to be your hometown pharmacy. Kevin Casey and his father Christopher Casey purchased Alberty Drugs from Gregory Gluck and his family on March 1, 2015. This is the second retail pharmacy currently owned by the Casey family. The other, Mead Square Pharmacy, is located in downtown Victor, NY.
As the Gluck Family did so for many years, the Casey Family will continue to bring value and exceptional customer service to the Batavia community. Alberty Drugs is a small business that feels strongly about supporting and servicing the community to the best of their ability. Founded by Guy and Olga Alberty, Alberty Drugs has been serving the pharmaceutical needs of the Genesee County area since 1922.
In 1967 Paul Gluck purchased Alberty Drugs, and he is continuing the family ownership for another generation with the addition of his son, Gregory Gluck, to the business. A traditional "hometown apothecary," Alberty Drugs has always made compassionate and personal customer service a hallmark of our business.
At Alberty Drugs, we genuinely care about our customers, and our pharmacists always take the time to help with your individual needs. Alberty Drugs also offers a convenient prescription delivery service, a compounding pharmacy, durable medical equipment, diabetic supplies, compression hosiery, and many other personalized services, including vaccinations, synchronized medication refills, and Med Packs. For the casual shopper, Alberty Drugs also sells unique gifts, including candles, greeting cards, and "Batavia, NY" souvenirs.
